About Jack-a-Roo

Meet Jack-a-Roo, a little rabbit with a kind heart, a curious spirit, and a love of exploring. Whether he's wandering through moonlit gardens, following woodland trails, or making new friends along the way, every adventure brings something new to discover.

Each Jack-a-Roo story is a rhyming picture book filled with adventure, humor, and familiar childhood experiences. As Jack-a-Roo explores the world around him, he encounters many of the same situations young children do, helping little readers understand and navigate the ups and downs of early childhood emotions.

With a growing cast of woodland friends and a new adventure in every book, Jack-a-Roo is a character children will enjoy returning to again and again. Each story also includes conversation prompts that help families continue reading, talking, and learning together beyond the final page.

About Angela Radzevich

Originally from England, I now live in Evansville, Indiana, with my husband and our son, Jack. I’ve always been creative through my work in digital design, but becoming a mama uncovered a new kind of creativity—the desire to write and tell stories for children. Through my work in business and marketing within the mental health space, along with my personal interest in early childhood emotional wellbeing, I found myself drawn to writing stories and designing characters and illustrations that help children understand their feelings.

Jack is the inspiration behind Jack-a-Roo—from the character itself to the stories I create. My life between England and America naturally inspires the culture, animal characters, and charming details woven into my story worlds. This project is deeply meaningful to me, and through my writing, I hope to inspire confidence, kindness, and emotional growth in young readers while creating special moments for families to share together.
